I am not against to anybody’s religion, but I believe in a limited edition of the God. For me, God is point source of energy, which keeps you
energise whenever need arises. The idea of God gives you a support that at
least God will remain my side even if no
other person chose to be at my side. But here comes my concept of ‘limited God’,
that God is last resort and will be utilised as last resort. God will be
required only when help or support can not be feasible with human support. My limited
edition of God, prohibits its entry into daily life and routinely affairs. I do not
seek help from God frequently. I do not Apray him daily but I do have a belief that, one
day I may approach God for help.
My concept of ‘limited God’, not only eliminates all
activities done to appease him but it also eliminates him from public practices. The
ongoing debates of holy cow politics, holy Haj yatra economics, visarjan into
my country’s vein -the rivers, and so so…. This concept does not reject
festivals and celebrations but limits their blind faith with rationalisation
and logic. On the lines with humanism, it raises status of ‘service to human’
equivalent to ‘service to God’. One may celebrates them without considering any
appeasement to God or any associated spiritual benefits.
The confidence that God works within me as me, can takes one near to his idea of God. On such lines, there isn’t any need for betterment of
life after death. In fact, I don’t believe in any life after death. But I have
confidence that, God will remain in my side even in next birth or life after
death as last resort.
